Protect Yourself with Basic Cyber Hygiene
CISA recently announced its Shields Up program to help individuals and organizations protect themselves against possible Russian cyber attacks. Of course, this good advice will help protect you from most ANY cyber attack! So it’s worth reviewing what I consider the top three:
(1) Require Multi-Factor Authentication for all remote access and online accounts
(2) Keep all sofware patched and up to date – operating systems, applications and firmware.
(3) Follow best practices for securing cloud services
Shields Up, everybody! Have a great (and safe) week.
Join me in Biloxi this week! I'll be talking about Cyber Security for the Supply Chain on Thursday -- and I'd be happy to speak at your next event!
